MSD School Board Minutes - 11/07/2001
Board Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER/FLAG SALUTE/INTRODUCTIONS The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Rob Olson, Board Chair. Board members in attendance were Rob Olson, Sheri Folsom, Charlie Crabtree, and Mary Mattison. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Grade 3 students from Irene Reither Primary School. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE The accounts payable register for the district was approved on a motion by Mary Mattison that was seconded by Charlie Crabtree. EDUCATION TOPIC - School Levy Planning Superintendent Dickerson presented information about school district finances and the role of the school levy. Discussion followed involving members of the School Board as well as others in attendance. A Citizens Advisory Committee is meeting regularly and will make recommendations regarding the amount of the levy request, the use of the levy funds, and the timing of the election. EXECUTIVE SESSION The Board went into executive session at 8:16 p.m. to review personnel performance matters. The executive session ended at 9:15 p.m. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m. by Chair Rob Olson. |
